Farm-to-Table Chicken Processing Workshop: May 30, 2026

$125.00

Join us at Breen Acre Farm for our Farm to Table Chicken processing workshop, a hands-on class designed to teach you the full process of harvesting and preparing your own meat birds with confidence and respect.

This is a real, on-farm experience where you’ll learn each step from start to finish-including humane dispatch, scalding, plucking, evisceration, and proper chilling and handling. We’ll walk alongside you, answer your questions, and share theh practical knowledge we’ve gained through raising and processing our own chickens.

Whether you’re interested in homesteading, sourcing your food more intentionally, or simply understanding where your meat comes from, this class is built to give you both the skills and perspective.

Participants will have the opportunity to be fully hands-on and can take home a chicken they’ve processed themselves.

Small group setting for personal instruction.

No prior experience needed.

Hosted at our farm in Hoytsville, Utah.

Limited spots available!

This is an honest and respectful look at food production- its not for everyone, but for those ready to learn, its an incredibly empowering skill.
